    1. Request Information

It is the goal of the Records Division of the Southbridge Police Department to provide the public with access to all information defined as public by law or regulation while maintaining the confidentiality of information exempted from release. So that we may fully comply with all laws and regulations, records requested will be ready within ten business days of your request.

All reports will be electronically sent to the requestor unless a specific request is made for the requested record to be mailed. There is no cost for reports sent electronically (see Notes).

To have the report mailed to you, please provide a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope with your request. You may also submit a physical copy of the record request form at the police department.

      Fees & Payment

Printed reports require the payment of $0.05 per page for black and white or $0.10 per page for color copies (if available; see Notes).

All payments must be made by check or money order made payable to "The Town of Southbridge."

      Reminder

Depending on the content, not all reports are available to the public. That will be determined by the records officer at time of request. If no report is available, you will be notified via email.

      Notes

Extensive requests may be subject to additional fees due to the scope of work required to process the request. If a storage device for electronic data is required or requested, the cost of item will be added to final fee. All required postage will be added to final fee. Victims of Domestic Violence receive record free of charge.
