Overview

Following the provisions of Massachusetts zoning law, the Southbridge Planning Board regulates the subdivision of land, oversees the master planning process, acts as the special permit granting authority, and makes recommendations for additions and changes to the Southbridge Zoning Bylaw.

The Town Planner serves as staff to the Planning Board. Additional information can be found on the Economic Development and Planning Department webpage.

The Board invites those interested in serving as alternate members to submit a letter of interest to the Town Manager.
