Accounting / Finance Department

Town Council
The Southbridge Town Council is comprised of 9 members, elected at-large.

Town Manager
The Town Manager shall be the chief administrative officer of the town, and shall be directly responsible and accountable to the Town Council for the effective administration of all town affairs placed in his or her charge by the Council or by this Charter.

Trash/Recycle
The Town of Southbridge through Casella provides residents with weekly curbside collection of true trash, biweekly collection of Single Stream, ZeroSort recycling, scheduled bulk waste, seasonal collection of yard waste and quarterly Household Hazardous Waste Days.

The Treasurer's Office handles many day to day tasks such as depositing and disbursing all town funds, payroll, employee benefit administration and accepting payments for Tax Title properties (liens on properties due to delinquencies).

Wastewater Department
The first public system report of sanitary sewers and sewage treatment for the Town of Southbridge was completed on February 21, 1898.
