SENIORS PROGRAM
TRIAD/SALT COMMITTEE
The Southbridge Police Department has been involved with the TRIAD
S.A.L.T. (Seniors and Law
Enforcement Together) since 1994.
The program is designed to reduce victimization of seniors within the
community. It addresses the
needs and concerns of seniors within the community by allowing the
opportunity to express those
concerns to law enforcement. It also provides seniors with valuable
information pertaining to their
own safety, and providing them with information relative to scams which
are being conducted
throughout the area.
Members of the Tri-community S.A.L.T. council are police and seniors
from Southbridge, Sturbridge,
and Charlton. The committee meets every third Wednesday of every month.
We encourage any and all
seniors in the area to attend the next meeting.
