Important Update

The Senate extended the work waiver to December 15, 2021. It should be noted that the restriction of 960 hours and earnings restriction of the difference between a retiree's public pension benefit and the annual salary their former job currently pays, plus an additional $15,000, will be in effect from December 16, 2021, until December 31, 2021.

Members who are working should be mindful of the change back to the regular post-retirement work restrictions heading into 2022.
